Your campus and local information
RackRivals stores your campus progress, company/model names, preferences and game history on your device. A completed-work journal keeps the latest 20 local results and their reviewed status. It is part of your saved campus and any backup you choose to copy; it is not automatic analytics. This release does not offer account creation or cloud saves. Names and AI models in the game are fictional game content; the game does not upload a dataset to train a real language model.
You can copy a campus backup code yourself. That code contains your saved progress and in-game names; keep it private. Copying it places it on your device's clipboard. Sharing it through another app is your choice and uses that app's services. A new campus does not necessarily erase every recovery copy. Clearing RackRivals' app storage removes its local files; keep a backup first if you want to retain progress.
An optional playtest diary is off by default. If enabled, it keeps aggregate app openings, foreground time, deliveries and tutorial-step counts on the device for up to 30 UTC days. While the campus is open, it also samples frame rate and drawing time roughly every five seconds, grouped by portrait or landscape and battery setting. These samples help investigate lag; they do not measure device temperature. The diary excludes your email, company name, advertising ID and full save. Nothing is uploaded automatically. Turning the diary off erases its counters. You may copy a report and choose to send it to us.
Local error reports
The game automatically keeps a small technical report on your device: up to 24 error locations emitted by the game engine, app version, code function/line, occurrence count and last occurrence time. Release builds do not report every script error, and this local report is not a complete crash history. Entries from more than 7 days ago are removed when the app runs. Raw error text, local variables, player names, credentials and your campus save are excluded. Nothing is uploaded automatically. You may copy the report to your clipboard and choose to share it with support. Privacy settings let you erase it separately from your campus. Reports already shared with us are handled as support correspondence.
Google Play may separately collect crash and unresponsive-app diagnostics from eligible devices where users share usage and diagnostics with Google. See Google's Android vitals explanation. This build has no Firebase Crashlytics integration.
Optional adverts
Choosing to load a sponsor advert contacts Google's advertising and consent services. We use Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform. The current adapter requests non-personalised adverts, teen ad protections and general-audience ad content for everyone, without asking for a date of birth. These settings do not bypass the consent checks or mean no data is processed. Advertising services can process IP-derived general location, advert/app interactions, diagnostics and device or account identifiers for advertising, measurement and fraud prevention. You can use the advertising privacy controls offered in the sponsor screen. Declining or being unable to load an advert does not prevent ordinary campus play. Google's SDK disclosure
Rewarded adverts shorten one eligible, funded in-game project timer; they do not award cash or real money. Each funded task can receive at most one earned boost. Advert availability depends on your region, privacy choices and the advertising service. Playtest builds may use test adverts, which do not earn publisher revenue.
Completion reminders
Local campus reminders are scheduled on your device when enabled. They do not require uploading your campus to a notification server.
Support, security and service providers
If you contact support, we receive your message, contact details and anything you deliberately attach. Do not send your password, login tokens or a full backup unless a specific recovery investigation requires the backup. We use support information to answer your request and investigate the reported problem.
Optional adverts use Google's services. Our support mailbox is hosted through GoDaddy cPanel. The RackRivals information website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. These providers can process connection and security information in addition to the information described above. A manually copied campus backup is not encrypted by the clipboard feature; keep copies private. Google's explanation for partner apps, GoDaddy's privacy notice and Cloudflare's privacy notice explain their processing and controls.
These services operate internationally and information may be processed outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Their published contractual transfer arrangements include standard contractual clauses and UK transfer provisions where applicable: GoDaddy data-processing terms, Cloudflare data-processing terms and Google advertising data-protection information. Contact support@tacty.io to ask about safeguards relevant to information you have shared with us. We do not promise that all provider processing takes place in the UK.
Visiting this website
When you visit rackrivals.tacty.io, Cloudflare processes technical connection information such as your IP address, requested URL, browser information and request time to deliver and protect the pages. These static pages contain no account form, advertising tags, analytics scripts or embedded third-party media. We do not deliberately add marketing or analytics cookies. Cloudflare may use security cookies when needed to protect a request; its cookie information explains these separately. Following a link to another website uses that provider's services and privacy terms.
Why we use information
Where UK or European data-protection law applies, our basis for answering requested support and investigating necessary technical or security faults is our legitimate interests in providing a working game and responding to players. We limit what we request, restrict access and apply the retention periods below. You can object or ask for deletion. We rely on legal obligations where needed to handle statutory privacy requests. Necessary website delivery and security serve our legitimate interests in providing safe access to these information pages. Advertising uses the applicable privacy choices and consent controls; requesting an optional reward does not bypass those controls. We do not use support correspondence for marketing or sell it.
Retention and deletion
Your local save remains until replaced or removed from the device. Clearing RackRivals' app storage removes the campus, local recovery copies, preferences, diary and local error report. Keep a backup first if you want to retain your progress. Copies you shared through other apps or saved elsewhere must be removed separately. You can erase the local error report independently in Privacy; turning off the playtest diary erases its local counters.
We normally delete active copies of support correspondence and technical reports within 90 days after the case closes. If we specifically request a full campus backup for recovery, we normally delete our active copies within 7 days after that case closes. We normally keep a minimal record of privacy-request handling for up to 12 months after the request is completed. We may retain limited information longer when needed for an active dispute, security investigation or legal obligation, recording and reviewing that need. You may request earlier deletion.
Provider backups and security logs have separate lifecycles. A deleted support email can remain in a GoDaddy hosting backup until that backup is replaced or expires; our active-copy deadlines are not a promise of immediate erasure from provider backups. We have not verified a single fixed expiry for every provider backup or log. Provider retention depends on the service, backup rotation, security/fraud needs and legal duties. Ask support@tacty.io about a specific deletion request; we will explain what we can erase and any provider limitation rather than promise an unverified deadline. If we restore a support backup, we will reapply completed deletion requests. We do not deliberately export website visitor logs into a separate player database.
Google sets retention according to the information and purpose, with some information retained longer for security, fraud prevention or legal needs. See Google's retention explanation. Our support-case periods above do not set Google's advertising-data retention, and removing a local campus does not erase information already processed by advertising services.
Your privacy rights and complaints
For requests about information you have shared with us, contact support@tacty.io. For data held only on your device, use the local controls described above. Depending on the law that applies and the data involved, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect earlier lawful processing. Changing advertising privacy choices is separate from deleting your local campus or support correspondence.
We may need to verify your identity or clarify the request. Do not email a password or sign-in token. We will handle requests within the applicable legal time limits and explain any lawful extension or refusal.
You can raise a concern with us at support@tacty.io. You also have the right to complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office or, where applicable, your local data-protection authority. ICO guidance on privacy information.
Audience and changes
RackRivals is intended for players aged 16 and over. It does not offer a player account or ask for your date of birth. The ad adapter applies teen protections, requests non-personalised adverts and restricts requested content to Google's general-audience rating for all players; these safeguards do not mean no advertising data is processed. We do not seek personal information from children under 16. If you believe a younger child has sent us personal information, contact support@tacty.io so we can investigate and remove information we hold where appropriate. A parent or guardian may help a young person make a privacy request. Advert availability and privacy options may differ by country.
We will update this policy when the game's data practices change and show the revised effective date. Material changes will also be explained through an appropriate in-game notice.
